Sport Competition Anxiety Test

The Sport Competition Anxiety Test (SCAT) was developed by Rainer Martens and co-workers in 1990. They showed that by analysing your responses to a series of statements about how you feel in a competitive situation it is possible to assess your level of anxiety.

As you read each of the statements below, decide if you "Rarely", "Sometimes" or "Often" feel that way when competing then select the appropriate response.

Do not spend too long on each statement as there is no right or wrong answers. When you have finished click the "Analyse" button to see your test result.Your SCAT score will range from 10 (low level of anxiety) to 30 (high level of anxiety).

The test can be repeated by selecting the "Reset" button.
